We have a MAC with ouir FACScan. To get the FCS files off the MAC, we have connected the MAC to our PC network and it appears on the Network Neighborhood. To do this, we use a program called "Dave". This software is produced by Thursby Software Systems, Inc (http://www.thursby.com and sales@thursby.com) (817-478-5070 voice and 817-561-2313 (fax)). It seems to work very well, and we have had only minor problems with it. There was once when the PC could not copy the files, so we renamed the MAC files from the MAC and then it worked. I did not see an invalid character, but maybe there was. I hope this works for you guys with hybrid systems like we have. I know that there are other programs that will do the trick, but this is the one we use.
