Spores staining

Hi flowers,


does anyone has an idea to get a good DNA staining of spores such as
Phanerochaete chrysosporium or Mucor hiemalis ?
All excitation wavelengths are possible (from UV to HeNe). I think its
more a problem how to get the dye in the cell, that means what kind of
fixation etc.
