We have noticed occasional cases with a fair amount of CD4/CD8 coexpression in peripheral bloods (up to 10% coexpression within the lymphoid gate). Most of these cases show no CMC or morphological abnormalities and we are not sure about the clinical significance of this findings. Does anybody know a "non-malignant" explanation for this finding? QC of these antibodies looks fine. Thanks for your help! Andrea J. Illingworth, M.S. (ASCP) Dahl-Chase Diagnostic Services Flow Cytometry 333 State Street Bangor, Maine 04401
