[ Coordinator's note: I don't usually pass on virus warnings, for several reasons. I'm making an ]
[ exception here because this is an effective way for Don to communicate about a specific incident ]
[ and let many of his correspondents know that A. there may be a problem, and B. it's corrected ]
[ on his end, and C. Because of Don's position in the flow community this message is of particular ]
[ interest to cytometrists. Steve. ]

I was sent a virus as an attachment to an email. Thinking it was a file
from someone in the family I opened it and my system was infected. One of
the "features" of this virus is that it tries to use the email list of the
infected computer to send itself to other people. This is done without any
knowledge to the user of the infected system.

I have cleaned my system and emails from me are now safe....but DO NOT OPEN
ANY EMAIL ATTACHMENT WITH THE NAME "PRETTY PARK"!!! It is a virus.

So you will know what is a valid and safe attachment from me in the future,
I will start my subject line with "ATCH_DH:"
