Paul,
You're well down in the range of rates.  I think the last average was about
$70/hour.  So, unless you're heavily center-grant subsidized, you're not
charging enough.  Unless, of course, you've done the cost analysis, and can
make expenses at those rates.
I charge $62/hour . . . no differential for sorting, since I personally think
it's a scam to charge more.  Think about it . . . sorting is the same as
analysis, except that you turn on some plates.  Except for a little extra
setup time (about 15 minutes), there's no real difference.  Besides, charging
more for sorting is actually a disincentive for users to sort . . . why would
we do that?
