Hi Alan

I too have Fileguard for logging user time, it is less than perfect. Many
people seem to use MAC Login ((http://www.eskimo.com/~kiberkli/). I have
found that you can get almost useful text files out of Fileguard. You
can set you log recording option to nothing but the log in and out (get
rid of all the little ticks). Then display the log window, you will have
a bunch of icons for the different months, do not open but click once on
whatever month you want, then use the save option in the file menu. It
saves all the entry's for the month as a simple text document. You can
read this in Excel and edit as necessary. Not ideal as you lose all the
other stuff the log can save for you and it takes a bit of editing but
its better than the usage chart. ASD software say they are going to add
on an export feature, sometime. If everyone phones up and bothers them
perhaps it would become higher priority. I have problems with Fileguard
and Cellquest crashes, if others have this problem again bother ASD
software, they say they had never heard of these problems before I phoned
them. The people at BD seemed very uninterested.
