Anyone out there try this product yet? How does it perform? Much tweaking?
(yes, I sound like a broken record on another FACS bead assay....) :-)

Cytokine Secretion Assays - for antigen-specific T cells

The Cytokine Secretion Assays are a new labeling system for the
enrichment and detection of human Cytokine secreting T-cells. An affinity
matrix for the secreted product is generated by attaching an Cytokine
specific Catch Reagent to the cell surface. Subsequently, the cells are
incubated and the secreted Cytokine binds to the Catch Antibody. The
caught cytokine, thus, represents an artificial surface marker which can
subsequently be labeled using a PE-conjugated anti-Cytokine antibody
(Detection Antibody). Magnetic labeling of the cells can now be achieved
using Anti-PE MicroBeads. The Cytokine Secretion Assays can be used for
the isolation of Cytokine secreting cells, in general. They can even be
used to isolate antigen-specific, cytokine-producing T-cells after antigen
specific stimulation. Enrichment of cytokine producing cells can easily be
achieved on MACS columns type MS+/RS+ or LS+/VS+.
