Beware with Green HeNe Lasers since their power is very low (no more than 2 mW). I had one on my ELITE, and Coulter France was unable to adjust it fine. If you want to use FITC (488 nm Argon laser) and phycoerythrine (544 nm Green HeNe), you absolutely need a Notch Filter (544 blocking) to avoid side scatter light in PMT2 (the one for FITC). This filter is very expensive, and reduce all fluorescences. Some people find that green HeNe work well, but this not in France. Dr Egeberg in Norway is very happy with it.
