Hello, We are studying a canine patient with chronic lymphadenopathy (x10 years) and 15x the normal level of IgM. The dog appears to have normal IgG and IgA levels, although the reagents for use in this species may have enough crossreactivity that anti-IgG or A could cross react with IgM, especially since it is present in such a high quantity. As a part of our workup, we would like to measure CD40 and CD40L. We are wondering: 1) has anyone used anti-human (or mouse) CD40 or CD40 L on dogs? and 2) Since a recombinant ligand is much more likely to bind cross-species than an antibody, is there anyone with recombinant CD40 and CD40 ligand who would be willing to send us a small amount for us to study in this dog? Thanks very much. Anne Avery ==================================== Anne Avery, VMD, PHD Department of Pathology Colorado State Univ Ft.
