Dahl-Chase Diagnostic Services is a dynamic and growing company, comprised of independent Histology, Pathology, Cytology and Flow Cytometry Labs. Our progressive laboratories process 40,000 Histology/Pathology cases, 65,000 GYN and 4,500 Non-GYN Cytology cases, and 2,300 Flow Cytometry cases annually. In addition to our labs, we boast a Medical Courier Service, which serves hospitals, laboratories, physicians' offices and the American Red Cross throughout the state. Located in Bangor we are at the heart of Maine - just a one hour drive from the great northern Maine wilderness, beautiful Moosehead Lake region, majestic Mount Katahdin or the internationally acclaimed Mt. Desert Island-Bar Harbor area. The City of Bangor, as well as the twenty-one communities located in our region provides a beautiful setting with affordable housing, outstanding schools and four-season recreation. We are currently seeking applicants for the following position:


MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (ASCP) IN FLOW CYTOMETRY

Must be MT/ASCP certified with a minimum of 2 years experience. Applicants who posses a strong hematology/flow cytometry background are preferred. The hours for this opening are Monday thru Friday, days, 32 - 40 hours per week. Rotating weekend call is required. Excellent interpersonal and organizational are a must.  Our Clinical Flow cytometry division performes phenotypic analysis on leukemias/lymphomas, DNA ploidy analysis, CD4 counts and reticulocyte analysis.  We are also in the process of adding CD34 stemcell enumerations to our test menu.
