My experience with the Elite DOS program is that it will run in DOS mode of
Windows 95. However, it will not run in Acquisition mode. On our very old
Pentium with an old version of Windows 95, the system would totally freeze
in acquisition, but it would work in multigraph and listmode setups. We
just bought an new computer system for our XL, and the computer is setup in
a dual-boot setup, allowing you to run the DOS versions of the software in
MS-DOS 6.22 and then the Expo software in Windows 95. For the DOS version
of the software, it will need access to IRQ 7 and 11, if I remember
correctly. This may need to be setup on the bios if necessary. I sent a
message to the list about 2 years ago on this subject, so you could look it
up if I remember incorrectly. I hope that this helps.
