I would like to use the CD45 mAb, 30F11, to distinguish between leukocytes and non-hematopoietic cells in single cell suspensions prepared from mouse tissue, e.g., lung. Initial staining and flow cytometry indicates two populations: CD45+ (quite bright) and CD45-. My question is: has anyone else done this? Is CD45 a valid marker for this purpose? Any caveats?
