Natalie,
Check into Kolmogorev-Smirnof (K/S) comparisons, used specifically for
comparing two histograms.  BD used to include a utility in their software . .
. don't know if they still do.  Also, searching the web I found this page
<http://www.dit.ou.dk/~jimm/ipcv/distributions.html> . . . curiously devoted
to just this topic.
