Dear All, I have read with interest the correspondence regarding freezing whole blood rather than Ficoll separated MNCs for subseqent flow analysis. Following this I have several queries. 1. Has anyone got experience with freezing whole bone marrow and its subsequent analysis after thawing, especially at diagnosis of acute leukaemia? Does the immunophenotype remain stable? I have a similar problem to Dr Stan Ress in that I am receiving samples but am awaiting a delivery of antibodies. 2. I am having difficulty obtaining the quoted 'Cytometry' reference - Fiebig et al 1997, 29, 340-350. Does anyone know if this journal is kept anywhere in the area of Birmingham, UK? Alternatively, can anyone send or e-mail me a copy? (isaac.lawson@btinternet.com) Thanks for your help. Sarah Lawson Birmingham Children's Hospital, UK.
