Dim FITC-conjugates

Randy (and any other interested parties),

You say that many people warned you off using the FITC-conjugates of
anti-CD4 because they are too dim regardless of the clone or
manufacturer. I wonder if that is the general impression of users for
FITC conjugates of ALL antibodies for all species (or is this problem
limited to the rhesus CD4 antibodies). I would appreciate anyone's views
on this subject.
