Wladyslaw, CD162 is the ligand for P-selectin (CD62P); so yes you will get platelet adhesion...read Andrews, R.K. Molecular Mechanisms of Platelet Adhesion and Activation. To get started...................You'll find CD162 (PSGL-1) on any bllod cell that has reason to exvasate by all accounts. I have read studies on monocytes and Neutrophils, (which is my interest) and also on T cells. CD62P is also expressed on TNF alpha stimulated endothelial cells. Work on which suggest there may be some overlap in ligand binding by all the selectins. Hope this helps Craig. Any role in platelet adhesion ?).
