POSITION AVAILABLE MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL HOSPITAL AIDS RESEARCH CENTER EXPERIMENTAL HEMATOLOGY 149 13TH STREET CHARLESTOWN, MA 02129 We're looking for an experienced FACS operator to manage and operate FACSCalibur and FACSVantage and to participate in innovative approaches to stem cell biology. Our laboratory offers a diverse and interactive environment that is ideal for highly motivated and independent individual. The person will be responsible for: · Managing and operating FACSCalibur and FACSVantage · Assisting the staff with developing and performing flow cytometry procedures and protocols · Coordinating and scheduling the use of all FACS instruments · General maintenance of all instrumentation · Providing training in the use of FACScalibur instrument and software We also offer many opportunities for independent and collaborative research projects Salary commensurate will depend on training and experience.
