We would like to post the following Cytometry position at New York University Medical Center FLOW CYTOMETER SUPERVISOR The Division of Hematopathology at New York University Medical Center has an unexpected immediate opening for a Flow Cytometry Supervisor. We seek an experienced flow cytometry operator with an extensive background in DNA analysis, immunophenotyping of leukemia and lymphoma and, possibly, in cell sorting. Proficiency is required in all flow cytometry immunostaining preparations and three/four color analysis using FACScan and FACScalibur cytometers. Other duties include supervision of two technologists and organization and maintenance of all flow cytometry activities. NYS DOH certification in Limited I-II-III and IV proficiency is preferred. In addition, proficiency in immunohistochemistry and in-situ hybridization is desirable. The candidate must possess a BS/MS in Biology Science or equivalent and 2-4 years of directly applicable experience in flow cytometry. The salary is commensurate with experience.
