If you look for crypto and flow cytometry you can find at least 20
references and I think you should select some.

I have worked with flow for crypto, briefly. One thing I noticed was that
we can make at least 1:20 dilution of the monoclonal anti-crypto/giardia
and still get a great definition on FSC x FL1 graphs.

I suggest you to look at:

J Clin Microbiol 1997 Aug;35(8):2013-7
Flow cytometric detection of Cryptosporidium oocysts in human stool
samples.
Valdez LM, Dang H, Okhuysen PC, Chappell CL

They have developed a method to identify crypto using human samples with a
good reprodutibility.

Good luck,

Olindo
