Hi Elaine! We make up our own. If you make a 10x solution you don't have to worry about ANYTHING growing, then dilute as needed. We also make up larger quatities that can be stored at room temp by adding sodium azide. No, never do we use antibiotics. For sorting you would obviously not want to use azide.
