1 BACKGROUND

After the big success of INABIS'98, that was organized at the McMaster
University, Canada....
We are sending you information about the 6th Internet World Congress of
Biomedical Sciences (INABIS 2000), that will be held in Internet from 14th
to 25th, February, 2000 at http://www.uclm.es/inabis2000
INABIS annual Congress is one of the largest scientific conferences ever to
take place exclusively in cyberspace. Due to the novel characteristics of
this event, we would like to offer this list's members the possibility to
participate in this Congress.
The Internet World Congress of Biomedical Sciences is an international
meeting annually organized by the Internet Association for Biomedical
Sciences (INABIS).
The World Congress INABIS 2000 will be dealing with the most up-to-date and
important topics of biomedical interest, including basic sciences and all
the medical specialties.
INABIS 2000 is relevant to all medical and health care professionals, as
well as those involved in the development and application of the new
technological opportunities offered to the medical field by the Computing
Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, etc.
The programme will include keynote conferences, invited symposia and plenary
sessions.

2 INVITED SYMPOSIA
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
We would like to extend the possibility of organizing Invited symposia in
their area of expertise to members of this list.
Each symposium should have 8-10 participants ("speakers") and should include
an international representation.
Please, send your agreement of the organizer to put together a symposium.

All accepted presentations will be published in the proceedings CD-ROM, that
will be distributed for free amongst all participants.

The title of the symposium and the name of the organizer will be posted
on the web site.
* Sept 30, 1999.
The list of symposium participants and titles of their presentations will
be posted
* October 30, 1999.
Deadline for submission of abstracts

Presentation will be uploaded
* February 14-25, 2000.
