Hi Mike,

Right, the FL3 area is measured in slot 17, however if the Vantage is not
"configured" for the pulse processing board you will not get a signal.

So to check: Exit cellquest;
 go to control panels in system folder; click on BDMAC, click on
configuration and see if there's a tick in Pulse board 1 or 2; you need 2.
You can click on both boards as you can use the one board in both slots
depending on what you are measuring.
Restart computer.

If this is not the source of the problem; go to pulse processing under
cytometer in CellQuest and set the G2 card to SSC and Fl3 as this is what's
measured here with single laser or, instead of SSC use FL3 twice.

ORrrrr you might have to play with the dead time (board in slot nr 13).

Have no experience with the kit.
