Dear all,

We have now retired our Skatron Argus flow cytometer after 10+
years of service. If there is anyone out there who'd like it (or bits of
it) for spares or repair please let us know. Some of these bits e.g.
the nozzles (and PMTs?) may be useful to Bryte users too. As a
minimum we'd expect you to pay for and arrange carriage (unless
you'd like to visit us in Aberystwyth to collect it - which is the
preferred option due to its weight!!), but otherwise the highest
bid secures.

Details:

Skatron base unit with LS1 and FL1 detectors, sheath / waste
   tanks, etc
Spare PMT
Excitation / Emission blocks: A1 / B1 / FITC / G1
3 spare 100W Mercury arc lamps (Osram) still sealed in boxes
Toolkit
Power supply box (hours counter doesn't work but otherwise OK)
5 new and 2 used 100um nozzles

Probably useless but available:
Computer with Skatron data acquisition card which seems to have
stopped working - i.e. collects 1 event and then stops. It could be a
card clash or it could have been fried. Video card has been
canibalised for something else..... Argmeas software is installed.

Cheers,

Haze
