Search Engine implemented

Colleagues:
After some false starts, we implemented the search engine for the Purdue
Cytometry Email List yesterday.

You can still do everything you always did - open any previous archive and
just use it as you did before. Alternatively, you can select an archive and
search for anything.

Search ALL - put in terms separated by spaces eg. dog cat lymphocyte
this will find pages that contain at least one of each term

Search ANY word - this is essentially an either/or alternative

EXACT phrase is obvious as is WHOLE word.

GOTO takes you to the old archives - it may not be so obvious. There is
still a problem that you will experience after selecting an archive and
opening it if you hit the BACK button on the browser. It may not know
where to go... so we added a RETURN link at the top of each archive.

Please send you comments: ideas, improvements, etc... we will do our
best.

By the way, the list is hit over 110,000 times each month (average of last
24 months).

Regards
Paul
