The following position is currently open: Dekalb Medical Center ( http://www.drhs.org/ ), a member of the PROMINA Health System, has a full-time position open for a medical technologist interested in flow cytometry. The flow cytometry laboratory currently performs lymphocyte and leukemia/lymphoma immunophenotyping, CD34 analysis for stem cell transplantation, and DNA on archival specimens. The lab also performs immunohistochemistry for DMC and some surrounding hospitals. Flow cytometry experience is preferred, but not required; hematology, immunology, or immunohistochemistry experience is required. Basic lab math skills must be demonstrable. Shift is day; hours flexible and/or variable. Weekends are rare, but may be required. Rotation to other areas of the laboratory, up to two days/week, may be considered.
