FileGuard and Cellquest

We also use fileguard for logging on our analysis and acquisition workstations.
We have version 3.2.1 installed on our 7300s, 7600, and G3s. We also run
fileGuard server on a separate Mac for convenience. We have only had one
repeatable instance of incompatibility between the two pieces of software. For
whatever reason, if fileguard is on the computer, trying to create a new
directory from within cellquest will lock up the instrument. It is an easy
workaround, however, as one needs only click on the desktop and create the
folders from there. Other than that fileguard has not caused any problems and
is an extremely useful program for tracking usage and accurate billing.
