OK, I will speak up. Dear All, we have been using WinFCM and EXPO for a year now. We are a very busy research facility in western Kenya and receive on the average 5-6 samples per day which we analyze for about 10 different parameters. I am not a fan of the Mac so I wanted to be able to use a PC to operate the FACScan. The software has been a lifesaver when it came to handling all that data and doing batch analysis and definite a major improvement over Lysis II. The drawbacks and areas that need improvement are as follows: 1. There is no way to automate export of parameters to a spreadsheet. 2. The software must be used with a "dongle" hooked up to the parallel port. This dongle frequently, for whatever reason, goes bad and is not recognized by the software. The folks at ACS have been very willing to promptly replace any dongles that have become faulty, however. 3. The software is not intuitive enough and the manuals are no substitute for experience.
