We are seeking the following professional to join our team: JOB TITLE: CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE II LOCATION: SAN JOSE, CA JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for providing centralized telephone technical support to customers, field personnel, and others on BDIS instruments and software. Analyze and troubleshoot complex flow cytometry system problems over the phone. Develop expert solutions to effectively resovle problems. Record requests for service and action taken to resolve problems in both computerized and manual documentation systems to provide historical service records, identify trends, make recommendations, and forward product complaints. Develop and maintain expertise in instrumentation and software. Obtain detailed documentation and training on all assigned products including design, manufacture, service operation, and applications. Develop basic electronics, mechanics, fluidics, optics, and troubleshooting skils. Qualifications: This nonexempt technician position typically requires an ASEE degree and one year of experience, or two years of experience with an AA in a biomedical discipline, or equivalent combination of related education and experience. Effective comunication, analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skils required. Working knowledge of medical diagnostic instrumentation also required.
