Cyclin D1

2 questions!

Is anyone having trouble getting Cyclin D1 antisera to work by flow?

Has anyone got satisfactory results with the Pharmingen anti Cyclin D1 - FITC?

We still cannot get the wretched thing to work despite playing round with
various fixation protocols!

We type a lot of LPDs and lymphomas and have an increasing number of cases
which don't fit clearly into either CLL or mantle cell lymphoma after
review of immunophenotype, morphology, histology, clinical features etc.
For example some cases which appear to be MCL have CD23+.
There is obviously a certain amount of pressure to "sort" these cases as
the prognosis is different and the Cyclin D1 would be a useful adjunct. I
gather it may work on paraffin but we type FNAs and bloods so really need
a flow method and the antiserum is supposedly designed for flow.

All suggestions gratefully accepted.
