carbonic anhydrase by flow

Does anybody have experience with measuring carbonic anhydrase (CA) by flow 
cytometry ?
I made a naive attempt on cultured erythroid cells, using custom-conjugated 
antibodies to CA, and a standard fix and perm protocol.
No luck --> no signal.
Maybe someone out there knows how to do it, why it did not work the way I 
tried, or why it can't work at all.
