Hi Frank, I know of two ways to do this;

I am assuming that you are using the DOS based workstation software suplied
with the ELITE, obviously if you have the windows based version from ACS
you can just copy and paste between applications.

O.K, first I'll describe the easy way;

i) Get yourself a DOS screen grabber (I use the excellent DOS shareware TSR
'GRAFFIX')

ii) Grab the histogram of interest to a GIF file.

iii) Open in your image software of choice (on the Macintosh I would
recommend GraphicConverter 2.06 (shareware).

iv) Convert to monochrome

v) Invert the image.

vi) Crop the image as it suits you.

v) Copy and Paste to powerpoint.

The above is what I use most of the time, However, sometimes you may want
to replot the data prior to pasting into powerpoint, for example, a few
years ago I needed to convert Histograms to cumulative frequency plots to
do Kolmanogorav-Smirnov analysis. Here's how I did it-

i)Open your saved histogram (.HST file) in excell.

ii)Strip off irrelevant header data and rearange data into flat file format
(I have an excell macro to do this somewhere)

ii)Chart data however you like and paste into powerpoint.

Of the two methods, the first is by far the easiest although the second
gives you far more control over your data.

Best wishes.

Arnold
