Hi to you all! The receptor for thrombospondin is CD36 which is expressed on platelets, epithelial cells, macrophages etc. But my question is...in which cells is thrombospondin expressed? I have read that it is uppregulated in apoptotic cells, but I would like to know if there is a cell type that has it constantly on its surface. Has somebody chechked the expression of this protein, or do I have to do it by my self... Thanks in advance! Mika Korkeamaki Flow Cytometry Operator BioCity-Turku Finland
