Baboon bone marrow ...

Greetings!

We have a group here who are trying to analyse baboon bone marrow for the
presence (or not) of transfected DNA, which is carrying a marker gene for GFP.
The problem which they have encountered is that these baboon bone marrow cells
have an enormously high apparent green auto-fluorescence (?) level, which makes
accurate detection & quantification of the transduced GFP fluorescence extremely
difficult. Is there anyone out there (!) who is, or has, worked with flow
cytometric analysis of baboon bone marrow &/or who has encountered a similar
situation ... ???

Thanks,
