Greetings to all!

I have a question about rat lymphocytes that maybe one of you out there can
answer..........

I am trying to purify rat B cells by negative selection with monoclonals (I
need them to be unstimulated) and by Percoll gradients. The Percoll
procedure that I have is for human or mouse B cells. Rat cells are of a
different (lighter) specific gravity than these cells and the percents of
Percoll listed in my protocol (85, 75 and 50 with the B cells to band
between the 85 and 75% layers) do not work. Anyone have any experience in
this area? or does anyone know what specific gravity rat small B cells are?

Thanks
Lynne Anguish
