Mark, I'm not going to answer your question... but: As an aside, note that there are two kinds of Jurkat T cells out there in the world, each with its own distinct T cell rearrangement! Yup, someone started calling a different T cell line "Jurkat" and started it spreading around (inadverdently, no doubt). The only way to know if your Jurkat is the original Jurkat is to look at the receptor rearrangement. The ATCC Jurkat is the same as the original. The two cell lines behave somewhat differently in certain assays... mr
