Ploidy staining

I need to sort triploid oyster embryos from diploid and then grow the
triploids post sorting. We have used propidium iodide staining to confirm
that we can induce triploid embryos but PI obviously affects long term
viability. Any thoughts would be appreciated. At present we have a BD
Vantage with a 100MW aircooled argon laser. I guess this rules out using
Hoechst 33342?
Cheers Ken
