We replaced the laser and power supply in our Coulter Profile II
about 18 months ago. About one month ago we started having
difficulties with switching on the laser. It would not switch ion
with the rest of the flow cytometer. Apparently this is because the
cytometer was not used every day for about 9 months. The
manufacturer suggested that we leave it on for a week, which cured
the problem.
In the last week we had to replace the hard disk in the cytometer,
and did not switch it on every day. After that, we again could not
start the laser.
Has anyone had similar experiences?
