Buy the upgrade. All you do is define the gates in CellQuest, launch 
CloneCyt, tell how many cells you want sorted into the wells, and push 
start. That is all there is too it.  I think it is a good program.  I 
have had trouble with the ACDU unit itself, but the program is good. As 
far as sorting on FL4 area and width, I have never done it, but if you 
can define the sort gates, you *should* be able to sort on them. Good
