Thanks in advance. Here it is: --- We are trying to apply flow cytometry to analysis of marine bacteria after FISH using Cy3 Dye labelled oligonucleotides. Is there an easy way for a positive control, for example, using beads to which the oligonucleotide would adsorb, so that they could be counted? Does anybody know of beads to which DNA-oligonucleotides would readily adsorb? Is an argon laser tuned to emit at 514nm suitable for Cy3 excitation? --- Thanks Markus -- University of Hawai'i SOEST - Dept.
