Tom, we get the bone marrow aspirates diluted 1:1 with phys.NaCl + heparine , and before taking from the aspirate for staining we put it on shaker for a very short while. We did not see differences in numbers of cells in various populations in different tubes so it seems that this is enough for routine examinations .
