Elizabeth, One of our PhD students works with Daunorubicin efflux assay on AML cells and she has noticed that after about 1h there is a "steady state" which means that she has to centrifuge cells and change medium again to get more DNR out. Maybe that is the case with Doxo as well. Just a thought. Best wishes Anna Porwit-MacDonald Haematopathology Lab.
