Unless I'm in error, open vials can be used for 9 "warming cycles" (the refrigerated substrate need to be warmed to room temperature before staining). Therefore, an open vial can be used nine times up through it's expiration date, which may lengthen the period of effective use. There are also products available from Bioergonomics (Fluorotrol) and Phoenix Flow Systems (CRISP). These are stabilized tissue culture cell products, which have longer "outdates". One caveat about all three; the fluorescence intensity of the CD34-bearing cells MAY be brighter than you are used to seeing with stem cells products, depending on the substrates you typically analyze.
