Gary de Jong's cry of grief about BD's service would certainly be a concern. As we are in the process of evaluating cytometers for replacement, I was wondering if anyone has experienced similar situation with the FACSCalibur. FACSCalibur is supposed to have a dedicated telephone line and be able to contact BD Service by modem who then takes over the control of the instrument and troubleshoots. Fact or fiction? Assuming most calls can be done this way, it will certainly cut down on the wait time for this particular instrument.
