 Dear Flowers,

 I am attempting to measure apoptosis and necrosis within a population 
 of vascular smooth muscle cells which have been isolated from a rat 
 aorta.The cells were  isolated  by a 12hr collagenase/elastase 
 digestion an then used  immediately  for a two colour annexin V vs PI
 experiment. The results are quite variable within the triplicates of each
 experiment , which is quite worrying. The conditions such as cell number
 incubation times etc. are the same for each experiment.

Any suggestions to improve the variability??
