Does anyone know of a coax to 10-Base-T transceiver >that works for this application??? Any help will be greatly appreciated. There are transceivers available, I have priced them from Black Box and a couple of other places. You can now get hubs with 4 or 8 10-base-T connectors, and a coax BNC connector on the back. We bought several of these, they were cheaper than transceivers! You might need a crossover cable to connect the hub into your network; one of ours included this, another had an extra socket for "cascade" connection that provided the same function. Last time I asked there was no Novell software for HP Pascal, and none expected. BD's FACSnet software gives ftp file transfer capability, but as far as I know can only communicate in the TCP/IP network protocol. That means at least one of your Novell machines will need to be configured for TCP/IP and ftp to bridge between the HP and the Novell network.
