viral inactivation

I need some confirmation from my flow colleagues... I know 1%
paraformaldehyde has been shown to inactivate pathogenic virus - how about
70% EtOH? If so, do you know the reference off the top of your head? We
are discussing the sorting of human pbl's on a FACStar Plus, and I need to
have some references on hand to strengthen my argument.
Thanks
Julie

P.S. I am too lazy to do a medline search for references on my own!
