Yeast Physiologist/Flow Cytometrist

Applications are sought for the position of Scientific Officer to
continue our development of flow cytometric methods for strain 
selection and quality control in the yeast industry. A relevant 
tertiary qualification or a combination of relevant training and 
experience is required. Preference will be given to applicants with 
an Honours degree and/or experience of practical microbiology, 
biochemistry or flow cytometry, but full training will be provided. 
The appointee will have the opportunity to study for a higher degree. 
A current driving license is essential. This position is available 
for one year starting January 1997 with extension for two additional 
years subject to performance. 

Salary range: Level 5: AU$30,024 - AU$33,098 per annum plus
superannuation.
