Highest Quality
Cytomation Sheath Fluid is the highest quality product available for flow cytometer sheath fluid. The phosphate-buffered saline solution is shipped sterile and endotoxin free. The sterile packaging consists of the highest quality non-leeching plastic film, hermetically sealed to retain product sterility. The combination of these characteristics allows our sheath fluid to be preservative-free, without the possibility of contamination. Cytomation Sheath Fluid is the only preservative-free sheath fluid available today.
Convenient
Cytomation Sheath Fluid is shipped highly concentrated to minimize storage requirements. Each package contains two 6 liter bags of 8x concentrate, providing 96 liters of sheath fluid. A laboratory that uses 10 liters of sheath fluid per day can store almost a month’s supply of Cytomation Sheath Fluid in only two 1.3 cubic foot boxes. Moving the units is also easy; a box that will eventually produce 96 liters of sheath fluid weighs less than 30 pounds when received. The Flow-Tec™ bags are designed for easy dispersal of the sheath fluid without mess or difficulty.

Cytomation Sheath Fluid is prepared, filtered, and packaged in a Class 10,000 clean room, under stringent controls guided by batch-record directions. Each unit is lot-number traceable to its certification record. The certification process includes analytical testing of each batch to ensure that it meets Cytomation’s stringent specifications for sheath fluid.
