Key FCSC Products 

The following FCSC standards provide a unique and powerful tool for routine flow cytometric immunophenotyping. These products provide unified instrument setup and comprehensive performance evaluation, as well as a means to quantitative the fluorescence intensity or antibody binding capacity of cell samples independent of the instrument.

QC Windows

The QC Windows kit consists of QC3 and Certified Blank microbeads accompanied by a Table of Initial Target Channels that when used in conjunction with labeled control cells, provides a unique approach to unified instrument setup and qualitative evaluation of instrument performance.
Quantum MESF Kits

FCSC has developed fluorescence intensity calibration products referred to as Quantum MESF kits. These kits use a series of four fluorescent standards which have been calibrated against solutions of laser grade fluorescent dyes in terms of MESF units per microbead standard. In addition to the fluorescent standards, each kit includes an unstained microbead population to measure the fluorescence threshold, or background noise level of the instrument. Each Quantum MESF kit includes free QuickCal software.

Quantum Simply Cellular

The Quantum Simply Cellular kit is one of the most sophisticated products produced by FCSC. It provides the flow cytometry laboratory with a direct and easy means to quantitate Antibody Binding Capacity (ABC) on subsets of cells. The Quantum Simply Cellular kit a mixture of five populations of microbeads, a blank (negative control) and four Simply Cellular populations which express different calibrated binding capacities for mouse IgG monoclonal antibodies. The Quantum Simply Cellular kit also contains the QuickCal software for data analysis and storage.

QuickCal Analysis Software

QuickCal is the analysis software that accompanies all the Quantum kits from FCSC. The program can accommodate data from all flow cytometers. Although the five peak channels from the Quantum standards are entered manually, the linear regression and instrument performance parameters are calculated and stored automatically for comprehensive quality control. This regression line is also used to quantitate the MESF or ABC values of cell samples.
