Cytometrists,
Has anyone had any experience doing the heparin-induced
thrombocytopenia assay (detection of platelet microparticles by flow
cytometry)? This was described in Brit.J.Haem., 1996,95:724-731.
We're particularly interested in anyone with experience using Coulter
flow cytometers. We're having difficulty seeing a microparticle
response in patients previously tested positive with the platelet
aggregation method.
